When you become a "Badger" for St John Wales you are one stop closer to becoming a young action hero! Our badger setts are across the UK, cater for young people between the ages of 5 & 10 and are fun, safe & supervised.
Supported by our mascot Bertie the Badger our young volunteers will learn essential skills they can use in their life such as team work and saving lives.
Action is the name of the game for our young volunteers. You can enjoy yourself at weekly meetings with other members, outdoor activities and camping.
Being a St John Badger will give you the opportunity to do the following activities and many more.

Competitions
Helping other Badgers

Learning how to safe a life

Super Badgers
Our young action hero will start on the adventure we call the Super Badger Award. You will have to complete12 different subjects to get this awards – but our action heroes are not alone! Bertie Badger is our Mascot and he will help you. So, whatever challenge you choose to face, we know you will succeed.
What interests you the most? Maybe the Adventure Badger, or perhaps the Entertainment Badger, or could it be the Wild Badger? There’s plenty to choose from.
Follow Me Badger
Is there no challenge too big for our Badgers?
Older Badgers may also like to aim towards becoming a Follow Me Badger. Follow Me Badgers have an important job helping the leader and younger Badgers at the Sett.
Are you our next action hero?
